Representatives from each of the participating companies will present a short overview of their organization, before sharing newest ideas and technologies to improve the performance, quality and economics of corrugated printing. Across the board, participants are seeing more independent corrugators expanding into finer graphics to differentiate their businesses from the integrated corrugators. This movement toward enhanced graphics raises the bar for suppliers, defining new demands for technology enhancement and quality control. Other key topics will include product and service innovations, effective partnering approaches, and sustainability efforts.
"We all share common customers. It just makes good business sense to also share our ideas and insights," says George Sickinger, CRI president and CEO. "Our Corrugated Technology Summit is all about creating a forum for open, candid discussions that will lead to better partnerships and ultimately better product and service offerings."
This is the third Corrugated Technology Summit that CRI will have hosted and to further enhance the exchange of ideas, this year’s Summit will include Voice of the Customer. Several successful high-end printers and converters will join the co-suppliers as Market Advisors to candidly share their challenges and successes, specifically when working with their suppliers. Owners or key managers from York Container, Drake Container, Archbold Container, Wisconsin Packaging and others will provide their insights during the Summit. Following the presentations, the group will participate in an open discussion about common challenges and best practices.
