PackCure is a UV – curable flexographic ink system for producing high quality labels. PackCure inks can be overprinted or laminated and are developed primarily for flexible and rigid polymeric substrates, which are printed on narrow web presses. PackCure is also suitable for applications where adhesion is difficult with conventional UV systems, such as use on high shrink and rigid films.
PackCure inks yield flexible, scratch resistant ink films, with the excellent adhesion and durability characteristics. They are very fast curing, allowing increased press speeds and have high color strengths which allow the use of fine line anilox rolls of 1200 lines per inch for process and line screen printing. PackCure inks are available in balanced systems or can be custom formulated to your specific application. Key characteristics include:
- Good gloss
- Runs at high speed with normal curing capacity
- Excellent adhesion and scratch resistance
- Ideal for shrink films, hard to print on films and foils
- Water resistant
Color Resolutions International (CRI) formulates ink systems using unique, proprietary chemistry that is both environmentally and application friendly. Each system has been designed with specific press configurations and substrates in mind. However, CRI will custom formulate, upon request, inks to meet almost any set of performance criteria. Please consult with your CRI Technical Sales/ Service Representative to assist you in choosing the proper ink system for your application.
